BOSCH Workplace Visit

 

Last week 6 of our key stage 4 children went to visit the BOSCH facilities in Liverpool at their offices in The Plaza in central Liverpool. All the young people were introduced to lots of people who work there. BOSCH have lots of different departments in the office block including Schneider, Bentley and INEOS. The young people were able to ask lots of questions to professionals about their job and roles within the organisation. They had lots of fun designing their own Bentley and INEOS vehicles and could see the price rise as the extras were added onto the vehicles. They were also able to speak to the IT consultants at the Schneider Heating Department and what they do to support their customers. They were also able to see how the ‘smart heating’ works in peoples homes and if anyone calls they could see the setup that they had in the office. All in all a great day was had. Big thanks go to Mrs Powell and Mr Kelly at BOSCH for such a great time. We look forward to a great working partnership with BOSCH for many years to come!!
