9A have done a lot of work on the effect of pollution on our the environment and how it makes us feel. Pupils have all agreed that it looks disgusting when places are full of litter and it makes us sad. So we decided to go and clean up one of the local parks by collecting up the litter and putting it in the bins there. We were amazed at how much we found under bushes and hedgerows and generally everywhere included right next to litter bins!
In PE we have been doing some orienteering and pupils had a go at making their own orienteering maps by looking at the playground and drawing the features that they saw in the correct places.
For Mothers Day everyone made a lovely card to take home for their Mums and carers. They took great care and pride making a heart shaped sun catcher to go inside it. We hope that you liked them and had a lovely day.
